Pantoprazole
Pantoprazole is prescribed to treat people who have excess stomach acid such as when suffering from Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Formulation – Pantoprazole is formulated using calcium stearate, crospovidone, hypromellose, iron oxide, mannitol, meth acrylic acid copolymer, polysorbate 80, povidone, propylene glycol, sodium carbonate, sodium lauryl sulphate, titanium dioxide, and triethyl citrate.
Pantoprazole is a drug that belongs to the Proton pump inhibitors drug class, and it has been found useful in additional to its main prescribed use to treat Barrett’s Oesophagus, GERD, Duodenal Ulcer and Erosive Esophagitis.
